Aesthetics of Korean Cuisine: Let’s talk Kimchi!

If you think of Korean cuisine, Kimchi is a very basic dish that you will be introduced to. It is a traditional Korean side dish made of fermented vegetables and a variety of seasonings. It usually takes months to be fermented in jars.

It tastes a little salty or sour to some people, but as a side dish, it goes very well with many other dishes including our Pork Bulgogi and other seafood.

And the best part is: it is good for your health! Kimchi contains a higher amount of fibre and it is low in calories. It also provides vitamins A, B, C, calcium, iron and carotene. There are over 200+ varieties of Kimchi made from cabbage, radish, scallion, or cucumber as the main ingredient.
